What You Need to Know

Helping hands and servant hearts are in high demand here. Short-term missions provide you with a changed heart, an unforgettable experience, and a great opportunity to serve others. Teams like this are an integral part in making this project happen because without the labor, there would be no fruit.

Dec. - 2019  This day include our Christmas with the Special needs families, a Christmas present per child, and lunch for the family.  Therefore this day would have additional costs added to the project cost.

All prices are in US Dollars 



In Country costs “may go up”  

We make every effort to keep the expenses of coming to Belize to a very minimum however; there are many expenses in hosting teams of people as we are sure you understand.

R&R Day

Depends on where the team goes $25 -$325.00 per person

**** R&R expenses are over and above all other budgeted expenses and will be the personal responsibility of each member to pay their own way in US dollars. ****

Zip-line & cave tubing per person 3hrs $ 35

Xunantunich Mayan Ruins per person plus guide $ 25

Variables are based on number of participants, ministry involvement, and excursion desired.

Price does not include airfare, insurance, ministry materials, spending money, passport, or optional vaccinations

                  



                             Payment of Fees

    Payment of fees will be divided into three parts.


  • The down payment, this is $100 per team member, this is a non-refundable deposit that holds the dates for your team. This is due 4 (four) months before your schedules arrival date.

  • Second payment is due 2 (two) months before your scheduled arrival date.  The amount of this payment is half of the total amount of the team’s time in Belize less, the $100 per person deposit.


  • Third payment for the second half of the total will be brought in the form of cash to the field.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email us markndana090604@yahoo.com


The Team budget is based on the type of project your team is coming to do, building supplies and ministry supplies will need to be purchased prior to the team’s arrival.  Advance discussions between the team leader and the host missionary will set the Team Budget.

Belize Short-Term Mission Trip – Assumption of Risk

Minor Waiver, Release of Liability, Indemnification and Consent Form


In view of the fact that CAMP SE KONSA, Mark and Dana Emmons, Missionaries, have developed opportunities for short-term overseas ministry;  

And, since we are non-profit organization, and in the nature of the case do not and cannot assume responsibility in case of sickness and/or accidents involving voluntary participants in ministry programs;  

Now therefore, the undersigned, being participant, parent or guardian of the minor child named below who desires to voluntarily participate in the mission, acknowledge that the volunteer is not an employee, servant or agent of this organization, recognize that there are risks involved in participating in the mission program and hereby assume all risk of injury, harm, damage or death in connection with the volunteer’s participation in it, undertake to provide for the volunteer’s financial needs and support, do not want to burden the above organizers with any responsibility for sickness, accidents, or other mishaps, serious bodily injury, permanent disability or death (whether or not caused in whole or in part by the negligence or the misconduct of the individuals), and understand that he/she must make his/her own provision for such eventualities.  

The undersigned hereby release CAMP SE KONSA, Mark and Dana Emmons, Missionaries and any and all of their departments, segments, officers, agents, and employees from all claims and demands in connection with the volunteer’s participation in or attendance upon said short-term missions program. This agreement is binding upon the heirs, executors, and assigns of the person(s) signing this form.  

Invalidity/Unenforceability: If any provision of this form is held to be invalid or unenforceable, this form shall be construed as if such invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained herein.  

I have carefully read this waiver, release of liability, indemnification and consent. I understand that by signing this agreement I am giving away substantial rights, and I am indicating that I fully understand, agree to and accept all of its provisions.

Short Term Mission Team Member

Code of Conduct


In order to make this short-term mission an effective outreach and growing experience, each participant agrees to abide by this code of conduct.


Each team member must agree to be willing and prepared to exhibit a servant’s attitude at all times; to be flexible in all types of circumstances; to work with the team and/or host site leadership, seeking to promote an attitude of unity, cooperation and respect for those in leadership; willing to live, sleep, travel, eat and work as part of the group in conditions that may be less than ideal; to accomplish whatever task is assigned whether on the job-site, in the kitchen, or while traveling; leaders will lead in a kindly manor; the group is to dress by the standards which are appropriate for the culture, seeking to never be a distraction or bring offense by what is worn.  (No short shorts, or skirts, no spaghetti straps) (Tanks ok if modest)


Specifically, each team member will:


  • Attend and participate in all team meetings.

  • Not use abusive language, gambling, alcohol at site of ministry or on streets, or public intoxication, tobacco, or any illegal substance.  Any violation of this may result in the team member being sent home at their own expense.

  • Tell the team leader of any medical condition and/or medications that the team member has or may need to take.  This includes any allergies and food restrictions.

  • Not leave the team without permission from the team leader.

  • Treat the members of the opposite gender as brothers and sister in Christ.  They will avoid any romantic relationship with the nationals, and also with fellow team members.  Even if there is already a romantic attachment between team members, they should be sensitive to other team members as well as the culture they are visiting.  This includes time alone, physical displays of affection, and any distractions from team activities.

  • Refrain from expressing their political opinions while on this mission.

  • Refrain from judgments on or about the culture to which they have come to serve.

  • Remember that they represent Christ to the people they have come to serve.

  • Not give money or valuable gifts to anyone without first checking with the host missionary.

  • Practice a Christ-like, loving, servant attitude towards those with whom they come to serve (missionaries) and towards those they serve.

  • If at any point a team member becomes a liability to the team, they can be sent home at their own expense.

  • Not plan any event that involves ministry without prior consent with missionaries, including leading worship, skits at churches, schools, at parks...
